Attorney Zhao graduated from Fudan University Law School. He primarily focuses on family succession, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial and civil dispute resolution. With expertise in wealth succession and risk isolation, he utilizes legal and trust instruments to provide clients with comprehensive legal services, including family wealth management, matrimonial property protection, corporate equity structure design, overseas investment structuring, and tax planning. In 2020, together with senior experts in law, trust, insurance, finance, and taxation, he co-founded the Fushiliu Family Office.
He previously worked in human resources management at China Merchants Securities (600999), giving him a strong understanding of corporate management. Leveraging his extensive experience in HR management and equity services, Attorney Zhao pioneered a partner equity incentive system designed to foster a collaborative ecosystem conducive to business growth, stimulate entrepreneurial passion within teams, and maintain stable corporate control—earning widespread recognition from clients.
Attorney Zhao serves as a shareholder, director, or supervisor in more than ten companies, actively participating in the governance decisions of client companies and assisting them in standardizing their governance practices. As part of his family succession services, he also provides succession support for second-generation entrepreneurs, helping family enterprises plan and establish structural frameworks during the intergenerational transfer process.

In 2012, his paper "On the Legal Validity of 'Valuation Adjustment Mechanism (VAM)' in PE Investments" was awarded the Excellent Paper Prize at the "2012 Shanghai Securities Market Legal Improvement and Risk Prevention Seminar," co-organized by the Shanghai Law Society and the Shanghai Securities Regulatory Bureau. He was also invited to deliver a keynote speech at the seminar.
